4. Remove the lithium battery from the peripheral board.
5. Snap the replacement battery into the battery connector on the peripheral board.

6. Place the sticker included with your battery kit on the back of your server above the power
connector.
7. Run the Compaq System Configuration Utility to reconfigure the system. See Chapter 3,
"Diagnostics and Troubleshooting," for more information.
CAUTION: BIOS settings will be lost after the flat disk battery is removed. BIOS settings must
be reconfigured after the battery is replaced.
