LD2 Offset Adjustment
Adjusting the LD2 laser write position.
This adjustment should be performed when de-
veloper is replaced.
Preparation: Be sure the drum unit is set .
Auto drum potential adjustment, auto
maximum density adjustment, auto
dot diameter adjustment, and LD1
offset adjustment must have been
complete.

Check the test pattern.
Specification: The density of test pat-
tern image resulting from two laser out-
put (vertical and horizontal scanning) must
be even vertically and horizontally be-
tween two image density reference lines,
as shown in the following figure.
