The vehicle is equipped with a device
connected with the UAE eCall system for
making emergency call to response
teams. The UAE eCall system is an auto-
matic emergency call service made in
event of a traffic accident or other
dents on the roads of Middle East. (only
in countries with regulation on this sys-
tem)
The system allows contacting with an
officer of the single duty dispatch ser-
vice in case of accidents on the roads of
Middle East. (only in countries with regu-
lation on this system)
The UAE eCall system given conditions,
stated in the Owner's Manual as well as
Warranty and Service book transmits
data to the Public Safety Answering
Point (PSAP) including such information
as vehicle location, vehicle type, VIN
(vehicle identification number of the
vehicle).
Once the data which is stored in the UAE
eCall system is delivered to the rescue
centre to assist the driver and passen-
gers with proper rescue operations, the
data will be deleted after rescue opera-
tion is completed.
*1. UAE eCall device in the Owner's Man-
ual means equipment, installed in the
vehicle, which provides connection with
the UAE eCall system.
*2. "Other accidents" mean any accidents
on the roads of Middle East (only in
countries with regulation on this system)
resulted in injured people and/or neces-
sity of provision of assistance. In case of
registration of any accident, it is neces-
sary to stop a vehicle, press button SOS
(location of the button is specified on the
picture in "UAE eCall System" on page 7-
43. When making a call, the system

which connects the vehicle with an offi-
cer of the Public Safety Answering Point
(PSAP) to tell about the reason of the
emergency call.
