Collision Warning

A: Collision Warning
Collision Warning will alert the driver
with the Forward Safety warning light
blinking ( ), warning message, an audi-
ble warning and steering wheel vibration
(if equipped).
Collision warning will be activated in the
following conditions:
僅 Your driving speed: Approximately
10-30 km/h (6-19 mph)
僅 Oncoming vehicle speed: Approxi-
mately 30-70 km/h (19-44 mph)
僅 Powered two-wheeler and cyclist
speed: Approximately 15-70 km/h (9-
44 mph)
Emergency Braking

A: Emergency Braking
Emergency braking will alert the driver
with the Forward Safety warning light
blinking ( ), warning message, an audi-
ble warning and steering wheel vibration
(if equipped). The brake assist will be
activated and to help avoid a collision
with an oncoming vehicle.
Emergency braking will be activated in
the following conditions.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) (Sensor Fusion)
僅 Your driving speed: 10~30 km/h
(6~19 mph)
僅 Oncoming vehicle speed: Approxi-
mately 30-70 km/h (19-44 mph)
僅 Powered two-wheeler and cyclist
speed: Approximately 15-70 km/h (9-
44 mph)
Stopping vehicle and ending
brake control
A: Drive carefully
When the vehicle is stopped due to
emergency braking, the warning mes-
sage will appear on the cluster.
For your safety, the driver should
depress the brake pedal immediately
and check the surroundings.
僅 Brake control will end after the vehicle
is stopped by emergency braking for
approximately 2 seconds.
NOTICE
The warning sound during collision
warning and emergency braking can be
switched off by pressing the hazard
warning light.
Junction Crossing function (if
equipped)
Warning and control
The Junction Crossing function is
warned and controlled by the following
level.
