Collision Warning

A: Collision Warning
Collision Warning will alert the driver
with the Forward Safety warning light
blinking ( ), warning message, an audi-
ble warning and steering wheel vibration
(if equipped).
Forward collision warning will be acti-
vated in the following conditions.
僅 Your driving speed: Approximately
10-55km/h (6-34 mph)
僅 Crossing vehicle speed: Approxi-
mately 10-60km/h (6-37 mph)
Emergency Braking

A: Emergency Braking
The Forward Safety warning light blink-
ing ( ), warning message, an audible
warning and the steering wheel vibration
(if equipped) that emergency braking
will be assisted. The brake assist will be
activated and help avoid the collision
with a vehicle, pedestrian cyclist, or pow-
ered two-wheeler.
Emergency braking will be activated in
the following conditions.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) (Sensor Fusion)
僅 Your driving speed: Approximately
10-55km/h (6-34 mph)
僅 Crossing vehicle speed: Approxi-
mately 10-40km/h (6-25 mph)
Stopping vehicle and ending
brake control
A: Drive carefully
When the vehicle is stopped due to
emergency braking, the warning mes-
sage will appear on the cluster.
For your safety, the driver should
depress the brake pedal immediately
and check the surroundings.
僅 Brake control will end after the vehicle
is stopped by emergency braking for
approximately 2 seconds.
CAUTION
If the collision angle with the crossing
vehicle is beyond a certain range, Junc-
tion Crossing Warning and control may
be late or may not operate.

The Direct Oncoming function is warned
and controlled in the following way.
