Driver assistance system
Highway Lane Change Assist function
will turn on when the following condi-
tions are satisfied.
僅 The Driving Assist button or Lane
Driving Assist button is used to turn
on Highway Driving Assist.
僅 The OK button is pressed on the
steering wheel whilst a message ask-
ing to use Highway Lane Change
Assist is displayed on the cluster.

Change Assist
Whilst Highway Lane Change Assist
function is on, the function will be ready
to operate when all the following condi-
tions are satisfied:
僅 Highway Driving Assist is operating
僅 Lane Following Assist is operating
僅 A vehicle in the rear area of your vehi-
cle is detected more than once after
the vehicle is turned on
僅 Your driving speed is above 30 km/h
(20 mph)
僅 When driving at low speeds, the vehi-
cle can only be operated if the vehi-
cles in the left and right adjacent
lanes are recognised, and there is no
risk of collision when changing lanes.
* Low speeds (Australia): 30~60 km/h
(20~40 mph)
* Low speeds (Europe): 30~80 km/h
(20~50 mph)

Highway Driving Assist (HDA)
僅 Hands-off warning is not displayed on
the cluster
僅 Hazard warning flasher is off
NOTICE
僅 Whilst Lane Change Assist function is
turned on (indicator on), Lane Follow-
ing Assist will not cancel even if the
turn signal indicator or hazard warn-
ing flasher is operating.
僅 Lane Change Assist function turns off
automatically when driven in the fol-
lowing road conditions:
- One driving lane
- Roads lacking physical centre sepa-
ration structures (such as guard-
rails)
- There is a pedestrian or cyclist on
the road ahead
僅 If the driving speed slows down to less
than 25 km/h (15 mph) when it is in
ready state, it will change to standby
state.
僅 When driving at low speeds, the vehi-
cle will change to standby state if it is
not recognised by the vehicles in the
left and right adjacent lanes.
* Low speeds (Australia): 30~60 km/h
(20~40 mph)
* Low speeds (Europe): 30~80 km/h
(20~50 mph)
僅 If a risk of collision is detected, the
system will change to standby state.
僅 The images or colours may be dis-
played differently depending on the
specifications of the instrument clus-
ter or theme.
