Safety features of your vehicle
Before use, be sure to check that pas-
sengers or objects are not caught.
CAUTION
Be aware that if there are objects on the
2nd row seat cushions, they may be
damaged when the walk-in function is
activated.
NOTICE
Do not operate the walk-in function
when the seatback of the 2nd row seats
are folded
2nd row seat folding strap (for 6/
7 passenger vehicle) (if equipped)
If the walk-in switch does not work, get
out of the vehicle by pulling the seat
folding strap in case of an emergency.
1. The 2nd row seat can be unlocked by
pulling the strap located beneath the
2nd row seat seatback. If the strap is
located beneath the 2nd row seat-
back, there is a label attached to show
where the strap is located in.

2. The 2nd row seatback will be folded
and push the seat to the farthest for-
ward position.
3. Hold the seat and get out of the vehi-
cle safely.
4. Get out of the vehicle to raise and
adjust the 2nd row seats to the pre-
ferred positions.

WARNING
Do not recklessly pull the seat folding
straps in an emergency when there are
people in the 2nd row seats. Sudden
movement of the seat may cause injury.
Use only if the walk-in switch does not
work.
Folding the rear seat
The rear seatbacks can be folded to
facilitate carrying long items or to
increase the luggage capacity of the
vehicle.
WARNING
The purpose of the fold-down rear seat-
backs is to allow you to carry longer
objects that could not be accommo-
dated in the cargo area.
Never allow passengers to sit on top of
the folded down seatback whilst the
vehicle is moving. This is not a proper
seating position and no seat belts are
available for use. This could result in
serious injury or death in case of an acci-
dent or sudden stop. Objects carried on
the folded down seatback should not
extend higher than the top of the front
seatbacks. This could allow cargo to
slide forward and cause injury or dam-
age during sudden stops.
Folding down the rear seatback
1. Insert the rear seat belt buckle in the
pocket between the rear seatback
and cushion, and insert the rear seat
belt webbing in the guide to prevent
the seat belt from being damaged.
