FIJI card cabling

Cabling common equipment in a multi group system
WARNING
The shortest Fiber Cable must always be used.
The cables from Group 0 to Group 1 must always be
the same length as the cables from the last group
back to Group 0
The delta between the lengths of each fiber ring from
Group 0 to any other group must not exceed 50'.
Rings are directional. Ring 0 is ascending and ring 1
is descending.
Fiber Network is enabled by the installation of one NTRB33 Fiber Junctor
Interface (FIJI) card in each Core/Net or Network module (see Figure 85 on
page
192). FIJI cards require two slots; they are installed in slots 2 and 3 of
each Network module, or in slots 8 and 9 of each Core/Net module. The LCD
display shows the Network group and shelf. If an error occurs, this window
displays an Alarm code.
