Replacing the cooling unit power cord on a Multiservice Switch 7480

Replace the power cord on the cooling unit for a Nortel Multiservice
Switch 7480 if it fails.
Prerequisites
You need a replacement cooling unit power cord with PEC NTHR66BA.

CAUTION
Risk of equipment damage
Replace a cooling unit power cord and restart cooling units within 10
minutes. You can damage the CPs and FPs and they can fail if the
cooling fans are off longer than 10 minutes.
Action
Disconnect the power cord from the "C.U. Power" connector on the back of
the shelf assembly. Use a 1/8-in. screwdriver to loosen the two screws. See
the figure

Connect the replacement power cord to the "C.U. Power" connector on the
back of the shelf assembly. Use a 1/8-in. screwdriver to tighten the two
screws.
