Hardware procedures
Action
Lay the wires from the timing source up to the connectors on the BITS
termination panel. Route the wires up or down the right side of the frame
against the cable management brackets.
Connect the wires at the timing source, using whatever method of
connection is required.
Label each timing wire pair at both end points to distinguish which is
reference 0 and which is reference 1.
Fasten the wires snugly with tie-wraps to whatever CPE wire support system
leads to the cable management brackets on the mounting apparatus. Leave
enough length at termination panel end of the wire to attach the D-sub or
coax connectors.
Assemble the cable with the appropriate connector. Refer to the pinout
tables below.
