Unpacking a processor card

Unpack a processor card in preparation for installation. Nortel Networks packs
processor cards separately, in boxes that contain antistatic material.

strap so that you do not damage electronic parts. For more

Risk of service degradation by condensation
Condensation on a processor card can affect its ability to operate.
Allow an unpacked processor card at least one hour to adjust to the
ambient temperature and humidity of the room before inserting it into
a shelf.
