Installing a blank processor card
Install a blank processor card into each empty slot on a shelf in order to meet
electromagnetic interference (EMI) regulatory requirements and thermal
specifications.

Avoiding damage from static electricity (page 135)
Action
Unpack the blank processor card. Keep the packaging materials for future
use.
Pull open the top and bottom latches of the blank processor card and slide
it into the slot until the locking latches begin to close.
Ensure the latch lock is fully disengaged by turning it counterclockwise by a
1/4 turn.
Close and lock the latches. See the figure
