Diagnostic Test Program Execution Check
The HDD test program is stored in the 610CT Diagnostics Disk. Perform all of the HDD
tests in the Hard Disk Drive Test. Refer to chapter 3, Tests and Diagnostics, for more infor-
mation about the HDD test program.
If an error is detected during the HDD test, an error code and status will be displayed; per-
form Check 1. The error codes and statuses are described in table 2-4. If an error code is not
generated, the HDD is operating properly.

Replace the HDD unit with a new one following the instructions in chapter 4,
Replacement Procedures. If the HDD is still not functioning properly, perform

Replace the flexible cable with a new one following the instructions in chapter 4.
If the HDD still not functioning properly, replace the system board.
