When this function is active, the interior light‐
ing switches on automatically when the
engine is unlocked or switched off.

Changing bulbs

Instructions for replacing light sources
& WARNING Risk of burns from hot com‐
ponent parts whilst replacing a bulb
Bulbs, lamps and plug connectors can
become very hot during operation.
When replacing a bulb, you could burn your‐
self on these component parts.
Allow the component parts to cool

down before replacing the bulbs.
Important safety notes
Before changing the bulbs, switch off the

vehicle's lighting system. This will prevent a
short circuit.
Use only spare bulbs of the same type and
R
with the correct voltage.
Use bulbs only in enclosed lamps that have
R
been designed for them.
Do not use any light source that has been
R
dropped or has scratches on its glass tube.
Otherwise, the light source may explode.
The light source may explode under the fol‐
R
lowing conditions:
if it is hot and you touch it
-
if you drop it
-
if you scratch it
-
Stains on the glass tube will reduce the
R
service life of the light source. Do not touch
the glass tube with your bare hands. If neces‐
sary, clean the glass tube with alcohol or spi‐
