To enter characters with the keyboard: tap

To use handwriting to enter characters:

write the character with one finger on the
touchscreen.
To zoom in and out of the map: move two

fingers together or apart.
To enlarge or reduce the size of a section

of a website: move two fingers together or
apart.
To call up a global menu in the applica‐

tions: touch the touchscreen and hold until
the OPTIONS menu appears.

Function of LINGUATRONIC
If you use the voice control system in an emer‐
gency your voice can change and your telephone
call, e.g. an emergency call, can thereby be
unnecessarily delayed.
Familiarise yourself with the voice control system
functions before starting the journey.
With LINGUATRONIC, various applications of the
MBUX multimedia system can be operated by
voice input. LINGUATRONIC is operational
approximately thirty seconds after the ignition is
switched on and is available from the driver's and
co-driver's seat.
The following applications of the multimedia sys‐
tem can be operated:

Telephone

Radio and TV

Media player

Vehicle functions

Starting LINGUATRONIC
