The AdBlue
tank can only be filled as inten‐
ded when the vehicle is parked on a level sur‐
face. This way, variations in the filling amount
are avoided.
When filling the reservoir when the vehicle is
standing at an angle, there is a risk of overfill‐
ing. This may damage exhaust gas aftertreat‐
ment components.
Park the vehicle on a level surface to fill

the AdBlue
tank.
Requirements
The auxiliary heating is switched off.

The ignition is switched off.

The front left-hand door is open.

The following messages that appear in succes‐
sion in the multifunction display indicate that you
need to refill the AdBlue
