The RS-232 and USB interfaces are standard for both
models. The remote control interfaces allow the
T3MIL50/50X to be programmed for automatic testing.
For more information on remote control programming,
please see the Command Overview chapter on page 92.

The Type B USB port on the rear panel is used for
remote control. This interface creates a virtual COM port
when connected to a PC.
The USB interface requires the USB driver to be installed.
See page 84 to install the USB driver.
Configure the interface to USB in
System>Utility>Interface menu.
Connect the Type A-B USB cable to the
rear panel USB B port on the
T3MIL50/50X.
Connect the other end to the Type A port
on the PC.
The USB driver needs to be installed when using the USB
port for remote control. The USB interface creates a
virtual COM port when connected to a PC.
Configure the interface to USB in
System>Utility>Interface menu.
