protective tape (SXA 109 7635) on the main flex
as shown so that two edges of the tape are lined
up with the two indicated edges of the flex film.
Fold the remainder of the rectangular shaped
piece of protective tape (SXA 109 7635) over the
edge of the main flex and bond it to the other side
of the flex film as shown.
To prevent damage to the flex film when
performing the next two steps, do NOT over
crease the bends being added to the flex
film.
Lightly bend the flex film near the board
connection end as shown.
