Select a Beeper Volume

700 Computers built with a laser scanner have three options: Off, High,
or Medium. See Appendix A, "Configurable Settings," for more informa-
tion about the Beeper Volume option.
Do the following to select a beeper volume:
1 Tap Start → Settings → the System tab → the Data Collection icon to
access its control panel applet.
2 Use the right and left arrows to scroll to the Beeper/LED tab, then tap
this tab.
3 Tap Beeper Volume, select an option, then tap Apply to change the set-
ting.
4 Tap ok to confirm this change, then tap ok to exit the Data Collection
control panel applet.
