Details
Below are descriptions and meanings for each piece of information pro-
vided via the Details tab. Note that this information is listed alphabetically.
S AP Density:
This identifies the level of density assigned to this access point. See page
347 for more information.
S Associated BSS ID:
This identifies the Basic Service Set (BSS) identity associated with this
access point.
S Auth (Authenticator) Status:
This monitors the 802.1x security activity on the server if network secu-
rity were enabled: "Running" or "Stopped."
S Current Channel:
This identifies the current channel on which communications are con-
ducted. See page 344 (without security) or page 347 (with security) for
more information.
S Current TX Rate:
This identifies the size (in Mb) of the current transfer rate.
S Desired SSID:
This identifies the network name or SSID assigned to the enabled pro-
file. See page 343 (without security) or page 345 (with security) for
more information.
S Encryption:
This indicates whether WEP or 802.1x encryption is enabled. See page
346 for more information about WEP encryption.
S Fragmentation:
This lists the number of frames in which memory is allocated and the
frame sizes are larger than the amount of memory requested.
