Remote core processor

In remote core processor with remote transmitter installations, the core processor is installed
stand-alone, as shown in Figure A-3.

I.S. barrier

An I.S. barrier is installed between the Model 3711 and the core processor. Figure A-4 shows the
terminals at the I.S. barrier. Table A-1 shows how the terminals at the Model 3711, the barrier, and the
core processor are matched.
Note: Do not use the MVD+ and MVD– terminals to supply power to the I.S. barrier. Instead, use the
PWR+ and PWR– terminals. For more information, see the Model 3711 installation manual.
