Table 12-1 Modbus Configuration – General parameters
Parameter Description
Status Displays the Model 3711 Modbus slave status.
Modbus Type • ASCII: 7-bit communications
• RTU: 8-bit communications
Log Modbus • Disabled: Parameter changes made via Modbus
Events communications are not logged.
• Enabled: Parameter changes made via Modbus
communications are logged.
Byte Order • LSB: The least significant byte is sent first
• MSB: The most significant byte is sent first
EFM Modbus • Disabled: Standard formats are applied to date and time
values in history data, event and alarm logs, and the
configured date and time registers.
• Enabled: EFM formats are applied to date and time values in
the locations listed above.
Date Register Specify the Modbus register that will be used to store the
real-time date value.
Time Register Specify the Modbus register that will be used to store the
real-time time value.
