Time-related commands
Name
Description
ST
Start specified Timer with specified
number of 100-millisecond intervals.
CT
Check Timer for specified FST.
WT
Suspend FST execution until specified
number of seconds (ARG1) have
elapsed. The number of seconds can
be from 0.1 to 999,999.
(1)
DWK
Sets RR(out) to the day of the week
(1=Sunday, 7=Saturday).
(1)
MND
Sets RR(out) to the number of minutes
past midnight.
(1) Before using the DWK and MND functions, ensure that the real-time clock on the Model 3711 is set correctly.

Control-related commands

Use Analog Output (AO), Discrete Output (DO), and Timed Duration Output (TDO) control-related
commands to control outputs.
Table 11-11
Control-related commands
Name
Description
AO
Analog Output. Sets the EU value of
the specific Analog Output point to the
argument value.
DO
Discrete Output. Sets the status of the
specified Discrete Output point to the
argument value.
TDO
Timed Duration Output. Activates a DO
point configured as a TDO or TDO
Toggle. This command requires that
you write a value to the EU Value
parameter prior to TDO command.
(1) If the output is in manual mode, the command is not performed. This Manual Mode check allows the FST to continue operation while
the remote device is being serviced.
To control the immediate physical state of an output, use the appropriate output command (see
Table 11-11). Using the database command SAV to write a value to the EU parameter of an output
affects the value from which the output level is calculated, but does not change the output directly.
If a PID loop is controlling the Analog Output, placing the PID loop into Manual Mode allows the
FST to send a value to the output parameter of the PID.
