The Flags window can also be used to initialize the Model 3711 with factory defaults. To do this:

Description
Shuts down and initializes the Model 3711 as follows:
• If user configuration in SRAM is valid, configuration data is loaded from
SRAM.
• If user configuration in SRAM is not valid, user configuration data is loaded
from flash memory. If user configuration data in flash memory is not valid, the
default factory configuration is loaded.
Shuts down and initializes the Model 3711 from user configuration in flash
memory. If user configuration data in flash memory is not valid, the default
factory configuration is loaded.
In addition, specific meter parameters are set to default values (see Table 14-2).
Performs a cold start and clears the alarm log and event log.
Performs a cold start and clears all custom displays. If a custom display was in
use, it must be reloaded manually.
Performs a cold start and clears all FSTs. If you want to restart an FST, you
must read it into the FST Editor, compile and download it, and accept the Start
option.
Performs a cold start and clears all history database files. Required if you
change the number of history points in the history database.
Performs a cold start and clears the alarm log, the event log, all FSTs, and all
custom displays.
Saves the current configuration data in SRAM to flash memory. Note that the
configuration data in SRAM may or may not be the same configuration data that
is displayed in ROCLINK 800.
Depending on communications type and speed, you may need to reconnect to
the Model 3711 after performing this function.
Clears user configuration data from flash memory.
Displays the current status of the Save Configuration or Clear function.
