4-1-3 Installing the Master Unit

The Master Unit is connected to the CPU Unit. It is connected to the CPU Unit in the same way as other
Units.
System Configuration Precautions
You can connect the Master Unit to the CPU Rack or an Expansion Rack as long as there are no more
than 10 Units on one Rack. You can connect up to 40 Master Units per CPU Unit.

Installing the Master Unit

Align the connectors and connect the Master Unit.

Slide the yellow sliders at the top and bottom of the Unit until they click into place and lock the
Unit.
Precautions for Safe Use
If the sliders are not locked completely, the Master Unit may not function properly.
To remove the Unit, unlock the sliders and remove the Unit.
