To protect against damage due to electrostatic discharge, a properly grounded ESD wrist
strap must be worn when handling equipment.
LNW2 (SYSCTL) installation
Follow this procedure to install the LNW2 (SYSCTL) circuit pack into the Alcatel-Lucent
1665 DMXtend shelf.

Remove the SYSCTL circuit pack from the packing material.

Identify the CTL slot on the Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMXtend shelf. See

Place the SYSCTL circuit pack into the CTL slot on the Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMXtend
shelf. Do NOT engage the circuit pack in the backplane connector.
