You can clear the System Event Log (SEL) using the BMC web
interface.
Viewing the SEL using the BMC web interface
▶ Log in to the BMC web interface.
▶ Open the Logs & Reports menu.
▶ Click IPMI Event Log to open the System Event Log page.
▶ Under Event Log the SEL is displayed.
All events concerning the system are displayed in a table in the Event Log
Content group.
▶ You can sort the table based on a column using the arrows in the header
field.
▶ You can also filter the table using the filter lists in the header of some
columns.
For more information on BMC settings, see the "BMC User Guide" of
your server.
Clearing the SEL using the BMC web interface
▶ Log in to the BMC web interface.
▶ Open the Logs & Reports menu.
▶ Click IPMI Event Log to open the System Event Log page.
▶ Click the Clear Event Log to clear the SEL.
