Figure 72: Removing the slot cover - example slot 2
▶ Remove the screw of the slot cover for the desired slot (see circle).
▶ Remove the slot cover.
CAUTION
▶
Keep the slot cover for future use.
▶
If the expansion card is removed and not replaced with a new
one, the slot cover must be reinstalled due to cooling, to comply
with applicable EMC regulations and to protect against fire.
▶ Carefully insert the expansion card into the PCIe slot and press down firmly
until it is fully seated in the slot.
▶ Fasten the slot bracket with the screw.
