Key Operator Settings

Key Layout

You can change the layout of charac-
ters assignments to Quick Dial keys
used for entering characters. Two dif-
ferent layouts are provided, the QW-
ERTY layout and the ABC layout.
With the QWERTY layout, the letters
are assigned in the same order as on
the keyboard of a typewriter. With
the ABC layout, they are arranged in
alphabetical order.
A
Make sure that the machine is in
standby mode.
B
Press the { { { { User Tools} } } } key.
C
Press 0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 to display "4. Key
Op. Tools".

Press the { { { { OK} } } } key.
E
Press { { { { 2} } } } { { { { 2} } } } { { { { 2} } } } { { { { 2} } } } , and then
press the { { { { OK} } } } key.

Press 0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 to display "19. Key
Layout".

Press the { { { { OK} } } } key.
H
Press 0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 and select "ABC-
DEF" or "QWERTY".

Press the { { { { OK} } } } key.
The layout is programmed.

The machine returns to standby
mode.
