MMI password
After logging in, you will be prompted to enter a password. The password is MCRLINK. The
MMI command line prompt in the initial mode is MCR>, but, after entering the password
correctly, the prompt will look as follows:
• MCR::> for single MCR installations
• MCRXX> for MCRs installed in a daisy chain xx represents the two-digit decimal MCR
address.
After three unsuccessful password attempts, the user will be logged out.
MMI logout
To log out of the MMI, type Q.
Basic MMI commands
Most MMI commands may be executed by typing the first letter of each word in the command
separated by a space. Should two or more commands begin with the same letter, type as many
letters as it takes to differentiate one command from another. The user may simply enter the
entire command to avoid confusion. The commands are not case-sensitive EXCEPT for the
MMI password (MCRLINK). The basic commands are:
• ALARM (A)
• CLEAR (C)
• DISPLAY (D)
• ESAM (E)
• HELP (HE)
• HOST (HOS)
• PROVISION (P)
• SET (S)
• TEST (T)
• QUIT (Q)
