Pre-upgrade service pack requirements
Steps/Comments
On the DHCP server
On the gateway
Clear the gateway's controller list.
Enter the IP addresses of the ICC and up
to three alternate controllers.
If the media gateway is a G350, enter:
copy running-config
startup-config
Reset MGP.
On the new ICC
Open a SAT session on the new ICC and
enter list media-gateway.
Verify that the Registered field (Reg?) is set
to y.
Place a test call.
If you have not already done so, in the Record
Configuration Information task, record all of the
configuration information, regardless of the
release from which you are upgrading.
You will re-enter some of this information after the
upgrade.
