When the DC Power Type Is Used

Connect the power cords to the ETERNUS DX.
The following procedure explains how to connect a DC power cord.
IMPORTANT
• One 40A fast-trip double-pole DC-rated circuit breaker must be located between each power supply unit
of the ETERNUS DX and each DC power supply device.
• Do not use any power cord other than the one provided with the ETERNUS DX. Also, do not use it with
other devices or purposes.
The power cord that is provided has been designed and tested for safe connection with the ETERNUS DX.
• To help with DC power cord management and prevent incorrect power cord connection, attach labels to
the DC power cords and make a note of the connection origins and destinations.
• When connecting DC power cords, check the connector orientation and then firmly push it all the way in.
When disconnecting DC power cords, depress the tab, then pull out the connector.
