6.2 Drives

Procedure
Similar to figure
1. Loosen the 4
marked screws on
the side.
2. Remove the
captive screw on
the front panel,
see also section
"Front panel
(Page 13)".
3. Slide the
enclosure cover
backwards in the 4
slotted holes to the
end of the slotted
holes.
4. Remove the cover
upwards vertically
and evenly without
tilting it.
To close the device, proceed in the reverse order.
6.2 Drives
6.2.1

Overview

Depending on the configuration, the device is equipped with drive cage type A for removable
drives or drive cage type B for permanent installation of drives.
Drives in drive cage type A
The following applies to devices with drive cage type A:
● Maximum configuration: 4 × 3.5" or 2.5" drives in removable drive bay
● Permissible operating temperature range: 0 ... 40 °C
