Procedure
1. Set the on/off switch
This prevents the device from starting automatically when
the power supply cable is plugged in.
2. Connect the IEC connector of the power supply cable with
the socket
3. Plug the power cable plug into the power outlet.
4. Set the on/off switch
The power LED to the left of the on/off switch and on the
front panel of the device lights up.

Connecting a redundant power supply

Requirement
● 2 power cables
● You have observed the Information about the power supply (Page 34).
● The connecting cables, connectors, sockets and connection materials used meet the
requirements according to section "Country-specific information on supply voltage
(Page 33)".
Procedure
1. Connect the IEC connector of a power supply cable with the
socket
lights up green.
2. As soon as you connect the power plug, a warning signal
sounds because only one power supply module is in
operation. The LED of the acknowledgment button
flashes red.
Press the acknowledgment button
stops.
3. Connect the IEC connector of the second power supply
cable with the socket
The LEDs of both acknowledgment buttons
up green.
Note
If only one power supply module is switched on or connected, or a module is defective, a
warning signal is emitted. The warning signal stops when the acknowledgment button is
pressed.
