"x + C" Paper Misfeed in the
Paper Exit Section
A
Slowly but firmly pull out the
misfed paper.
-To prevent paper misfeeds:
When a thin paper misfeed in the pa-
per exit section occurs, reduce the
printing speed with the {W W }{V V }
(Speed) keys (See ⇒ P.37 "Changing
the Printing Speed"). If you cannot re-
duce the printing speed, close the
trailing edge guides or move the end
plate toward the paper delivery tray
edge.
"x + D" Master Misfeed in the
Master Feed Section

Pull out the master tray until it
stops.

Open the master guide.
C
Open the master tray cover (1).

Remove the master roll (2).

Reset the master roll (1).
Note
The master roll must be posi-
tioned as shown in the illustra-
tion in step F.

Close the master tray cover (2).

Insert the paper edge of the mas-
ter roll as shown in the illustra-
tion until the master edge reaches
the arrow mark.
H
Close the master guide.
I
Push in the master tray until it
stops.
