Conserving the Master

The machine automatically changes
the master length depending on the
paper size you use. This saves both
master and ink.
a = Images on the master
b = Masters
c = Area that you can save master and
ink
Limitation
The optional document feeder is
required.
Note
This function is turned on when
you use A4K, 8
B5K paper and you set 2 or more
originals in the optional document
feeder.
This function does not apply to the
last page.
You can cancel Master Saving
mode with the user tools. See
"Master length" ⇒ P.152 "4. Mode
Setting". You can also save master
using the optional A4, 8
drum. See ⇒ P.99 "Changing the
Drum Size".
