When It is time to replace the master unit and the fusing pad, the Replace Master Unit
Indicator (IXP) starts bllnklng.

1. Open the top unit and remove
the used fusing pad.
Caution: The fusing unit and
pad will be hot if you
have been using the
copier. So, handle
the used pad by the
straps on the' ends
only.
2. Install the new fusing pad.
Note: The new fusing pad is
p a c k e d w i t h t h e n e w
master unit.
3 . O p e n t h e m a s t e r unit cover
and take out the used master
unit.
N o t e : D i s p o s e o f b o t h t h e
used unit and fusing
pad using a vinyle bag.
