1-14. replacing the fuse

WArnInG:
1. to avoid electrical shock hazards, turn oFF the power and open the control box cover
after about five minutes have passed.
2. open the control box cover after turning oFF the power without fail. then, replace with
a new fuse with the specified capacity.
For the fork, the pn secton s ntegral wth the
base secton. To replace the fork, both the pn
secton and the base secton have to be replaced
together.
Loosen two setscrews 1 and replace the fork pn
asm. wth a new one.
The fork pin is to be mounted with fitted in seat-
ng secton 2 n terms of both the longtudnal and
lateral directions as shown in the figure at left. Be
sure to securely tghten setscrews 1 wth the fork
pressed aganst the seatng secton.
the fork section is always pressed
by the work clamp foot of the sewing
machine. Daily checkup is necessary
to check whether the fork pin is dam-
aged, the fork is bent or the setscrews
have loosened.
Check frst that the power swtch s n the OFF
state, and dsconnect the power cord from the wall
outlet.

Then, wait for five minutes or more.
Remove four screws whch secure the back cover

of control box. Carefully open the back cover.
There are three fuses placed on the upper rght

secton of the SDC PWB.
1 For steppng motor power supply protec-
ton 5A (tme-lag fuse)
2 For solenod power supply protecton
3.15A (tme-lag fuse)
3 For control power supply protecton 2A
(fast-blow type fuse)
