2-20. How to change the item data (bartacking setting)

· If you turn oFF the power to the sewing machine without having pressed the set ready
key, the set values of the pattern number, X/Y actual dimension values, the max. sewing
speed, thread tension and X/Y travel amount will not be stored in memory.
· If you change the Y travel amount, the dimensions between bartacks will change.
· Be sure to check the sewing shape by means of the machine head jump step sewing af-
ter having changed the X/Y travel amount. If the sewing range exceeds the work clamp
foot, the needle can come in contact with the work clamp foot during sewing resulting in
needle breakage.
1 Displaying the data entry screen
On the data entry screen, the tem data can be changed. On

the sewng screen (green), press the set ready key

* The thread tenson value can also be changed on the sew-

ng screen.

When the tem data button correspondng to the tem you want
to change s pressed, the tem data entry screen s dsplayed.
There are followng sx data tems.

* The maxmum nput range and ntal value of max. lmtng
speed D depend on the memory swtch U01.
* Even f the set value of the X/Y travel amount falls wthn the
nput range, the actual sewng range may reach the travel
lmts of the sewng machne. In ths case, the out-of-range
error E042 wll occur.
For example, the X actual dmenson value entry procedure s
as follows.

Enter a desred value wth the numerc keys and +/- buttons G .
4 Confirming your entry
When you press enter button

* For the other tem data, data can be changed n the smlar
procedure.
* X/Y values of the X/Y actual dmenson values can be en-
tered on one and the same screen.
