Firmware Update
• Use the 19 pin-to-RJ-45 adapter cable (CEFD P/N CA-0000352) that is part
of the KT-0000203 LPODnet Netbook Accessory Kit to connect the
LPODnet or the User PC to the LPOD-R PS 1 or PS 1.5 19-pin 'J6 | COM1'
port.

Configure the Terminal Emulator Program

On the User PC – Open the terminal emulator program, and then configure the
program's serial port communication and terminal display operation:
• Baud Rate = 38400 bps
• Data Bits = 8
• Stop bits = 1
• Parity = NO
• Local Echo = ON
• Port Flow Control = NONE
• Display New Line Rx/Tx = CR
1) Read your terminal emulator program user guide or HELP feature
for operating and configuration instructions.
2) The CLC-10 Handheld Terminal may be used in place of a PC-based
Terminal Emulator for LPOD-R PS 1 or PS 1.5 units that were
originally shipped with the 19-pin 'J6 | COM1' 19-pin port.

Get the LPOD-R Management IP Address and
Firmware Information
1. On the LPOD-R – Apply power to the unit. Your power connection varies
depending on your ordered unit.
See Section 2.2.3 or Section 2.2.4 in Chapter 2. SYSTEM
CONNECTORS, INSTALLATION,
identify your specific power connector.
2. Identify your default Management IP Address. You will not be able to
access the LPOD-R HTTP Interface without this information.
