Zoom Adjust (IR)

Requirement
• The difference should be within ±1.0 % of the actual length.
• Adjust so that the following specifications are satisfied with a scale length of 200 mm.
Zoom Ratio Specification
Full size (×1.000) 200 ±2.0 mm
NOTE
• This adjustment must be made when the Scanner Drive Cables have been replaced and
after the adjustments of Registration (CD and FD) (Printer) have been made.

Adjust Mode
Zoom Adjust (CD)
1. Place a scale in parallel with the Original Width
Scale and make a copy. (Note that the scale is
perpendicular to the Original Length Scale.)
Use the full size (X1.000) mode and paper with a
width of 200 mm or more.
If the scale is of plastic and transparent, place a
blank sheet of paper over it.
2. Measure the length of the scale on the copy to
find the difference.
If the difference is outside the specification,
adjust by following the procedure shown below.
