Configuring the Seed

To configure the current WSS to be the seed of a Mobility Domain, use the following commands:
set mobility-domain mode seed domain-name mob-dom-name
To specify the WSSs that are members of the Mobility Domain, use the following command:
set mobility-domain member ip-addr
Enter the system IP address of the member switch. You do not need to enter the subnet mask. Repeat the
command for each member.
To verify the change, use the following command:
show mobility-domain
The following commands configure a WSS to be the Mobility Domain seed, add two nonseed members to the
member list, and verify the change:
2370# set mobility-domain mode seed domain-name corp
success: change accepted.
2370# set mobility-domain member 10.10.40.4
success: change accepted.
2370# set mobility-domain member 10.10.50.4
success: change accepted.
2370# show mobility-domain
Mobility Domain name: corp
Member
---------------
10.10.10.4
10.10.40.4
10.10.50.4

Configuring a Nonseed Member

To configure the current WSS to be a member of a Mobility Domain but not the seed for the domain, use the
following command:
set mobility-domain mode member seed-ip ip-addr
Enter the system IP address of the seed switch.

Configuring User Authentication

WSS Software provides the following types of authentication:
• IEEE 802.1X—If the network user's network interface card (NIC) supports 802.1X, WSS Software
checks for an 802.1X authentication rule that matches the username (and SSID, if wireless access is
