SYMPTOM
SC670-01, -02 (Engine start up error) occurs
SC665-XX (FFC connection error) occurs
SC664-04 (ASIC on the imaging IOB and Transport IOB SRAM program expansion error)
occurs
CAUSE
The engine board resets at an unexpected time, and does not start up again.
SOLUTION
D146/D147/D148/D149/D150:
Do SOLUTION 1 if the Engine firmware is Ver. 1.35.08 or newer, and do SOLUTION 2 if
the Engine firmware is older than this (ver. 1.34.08 or older).
D176/D177/D237:
Do SOLUTION 1 if the Engine firmware is Ver. 1.28.08 or newer, and do SOLUTION 2 if
the Engine firmware is older than this (ver. 1.27.08 or older).
SOLUTION 1
If the symptom occurs, use the following chart to determine the cause and decide the best
course of action.
Note: The action for when the LED light 3 times on the BCU was deleted from this the
flow chart and transferred to SC664 and SC665.
