How to Adjust the Oscillate Relief
Valve
Note: Perform this procedure with the boom in the
stowed position.
Note: This procedure will require two people.
Note: Refer to Oscillate Manifold Component list to
locate the oscillate relief valve.
1 Remove the drive chassis cover from the
square-end of the machine.
2 Connect a 0 to 5000 psi / 0 to 350 bar
pressure gauge to the test port on the two
wheel steer and oscillate manifold.
3 Start the engine from the platform controls.
4 Press down the foot switch and manually
activate one of the oscillate limit switches. Hold
the switch in the activated position and
observe the reading on the pressure gauge.
Refer to Specifications, Hydraulic Component
Specifications.
5 Turn the engine off. Use a wrench to hold the
relief valve and loosen the jam nut.
6 Adjust the stud with a hex wrench. Turn it
clockwise to increase the pressure or
counterclockwise to decrease the pressure.
Tighten the jam nut.
Tip-over hazard. Do not adjust
the relief valve higher than
specified.
7 Repeat steps 3 through 4 to confirm relief
valve pressure.
8 Remove the pressure gauge.
9 Install the drive chassis cover.
