(ECT) SENSOR
ENGINE COOLANT TEMP. SENSOR
INSPECTION
MEASURE RESISTANCE OF ENGINE COOLANT
TEMP. SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between
terminals.
Resistance:
Refer to the chart above.
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the
sensor.
(c) Reconnect the connector.
