ENGINE MECHANICAL
ENGINE REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE TERMINAL
OF BATTERY
2. REMOVE HOOD
3. REMOVE BATTERY
4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
6. DRAIN ENGINE OIL
7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER AND HOSE
8. REMOVE RADIATOR
(a) Disconnect the reservoir hose.
(b) (A/T only)
Disconnect the oil cooler hoses.
(c) Remove the radiator hoses.
(d) Remove the two clips and No.2 fan shroud.
(e) Remove the four bolts and No.1 fan shroud.
(f) Remove the four bolts and radiator.
9. (M/T only)
DISCONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER HOSE
10. REMOVE PS DRIVE BELT AND PUMP PULLEY
11. DISCONNECT PS PUMP FROM ENGINE
12. REMOVE A/C DRIVE BELT
