ADF assembly removal
Warning: Do not interchange screws during reinstallation, as it may damage the machine. Always take note of
their original placement.
1.
Remove the power supply. See
2.
Remove the duplex unit. See
3.
Remove the rear cover. See
4.
Remove the right cover. See
5.
Remove the ADF/scanner assembly. See
6.
Flip over the ADF/scanner assembly.
Warning: Be sure not to mar the surface of the assembly.
7.
Remove the six screws (A) securing the ADF assembly to the scanner assembly.
8.
Press the scanner lid latch to release the ADF assembly from the scanner assembly.
9.
Open the ADF assembly.
