Remove the scanner assembly.

Remove the ADF tray. See

Open the ADF.

Using a flat‑blade screwdriver, remove the ADF controller board access cover.

Disconnect the two cables (A).
Note: To disconnect the grounding cable, press the tab first and then pull.
