2. Troubleshooting When Using the Copy/Document Server Function
Problem
In Margin Adjustment mode,
parts of the original image
are not copied.

In Image Repeat mode, the
original image is not copied
repeatedly.
Stamp
Problem
The stamp position is wrong.
The stamp is not printed on the
back side of sheets when
copying in Duplex mode.
Combine
Problem
Copies made with the Booklet
or Magazine function cannot
be folded into a book
correctly.

Causes
• You have specified a
wide erase margin.
• There is a lack of margin
space on the opposite
side of the binding
position.
The size of the selected copy
paper is the same as the
originals, or you did not
select the correct
reproduction ratio.
Causes
The paper orientation is
wrong.
The back side stamp position
is incorrect for the paper size.
Causes
You have selected a setting
that does not match the
orientation of the original.
Solutions
Reduce the width of the margin. For
details, see "Margin Adjustment", Copy
and Document Server Reference
Select copy paper larger than the
original or select the correct
reproduction ratio.
Solutions
Check the paper orientation and stamp
position.
Reset the back side stamp position. For

Solutions
In [Copier / Document Server Features],
under [Edit], set [Orientation: Booklet,
Magazine] correctly.
