What is a Preset?

A preset is a setting you can call up at the touch of a key that holds
pre-defined settings such as class, manual weight, ad, account
number, etc. within your machine.
What's nice is that you don't have to program the settings that go
into a preset in the traditional sense. Instead, the system takes a
"snapshot" of the current settings on your machine when you define
if the machine is setup to run a mail job. For example, if the machine
is set up to print an ad, and a postage amount already on the screen,
this is the condition that will be recorded by the system when you
define a Custom preset.
If you need to change the settings of a preset, just change the
machine condition by pressing the appropriate Feature keys and
establishing the proper settings (such as No Ad, weight, a specific
class, etc.).
The Custom and Preset setting options are available by pressing
Menu and selecting "Preset Options".

Normal Preset / Default Screen

Your system has a "normal" preset which takes you to the default
screen. Your system reverts to the Normal Preset when it powers on
or wakes up from sleep mode.
